The print industry has been talking about connected workflows for years. On 17 June, you can see one running.
Infigo, PrintIQ, GMG Color, Enfocus and Printess will come together in Leeds on 17 June for Create and Automate: Where Print Connects, a half-day event that demonstrates a complete, integrated print workflow live in front of an invited audience of print business owners and production directors.
The event is the second in the Create and Automate series, following a sold-out session in London in January 2026.
Rather than presenting individual platform demonstrations, the five partners will run a single connected workflow from end to end, showing how a print job moves from storefront through MIS, preflight, colour management and personalisation to finished printed output, with no manual intervention between each stage.
Thirty seats. Leeds. 17 June. Places are going to print business owners and production directors. The London session sold out. Reserve your place, it’s free.
Attendees will see in practice what it costs a print business to run disconnected systems. Within staff time, in reprints, in jobs that cannot scale. And what the operation looks like when those systems are replaced by a single connected workflow.
The day includes a networking lunch on the rooftop terrace, giving attendees direct access to specialists from all five companies. It closes with the Perky Printers activation, in which attendees are transformed into personalised, historically-styled printed characters using live personalisation technology, taking home a printed keepsake produced on the day.
“I’ve been in the print industry for over forty years and I’d never seen an event that showed the whole connected workflow live, in a room small enough to have a real conversation,” said David McGuiness, Partner Manager at Infigo and founder of the Create and Automate series. “I promise it’s unlike anything you’ve been to before. Because I spent forty years looking for it and couldn’t find it.”
